Saiga Model 5.45x39 manufactured in Russia in the IZHMASH Factory. This
product was marketed by Russian American Armory as the IZ-240, but is
now being marketed with the same Russian IZHMASH quality by several
other importers. The rifle comes stock with 16.3" chrome lined
barrel comes NIB with oil can, cleaning kit, instruction manual and the
following features:
Buttstock:
a. Factory Monte Carlo Buttstock (pictured)
b. Russian Thumbhole Buttstock - installed
Bullet Button:
For
California Compliance Only. The bullet button must be installed by your
dealer prior to firearm being transferred to you. If you do not live in
California, you do not want a bullet button.
Gas Piston:The
factory gas piston is installed. If you purchase the TAPCO gas piston,
you will receive the factory piston installed and the TAPCO piston in
the package. The TAPCO piston can be installed by the average gun owner,
but it is recommended that a professional gunsmith perform the
installation.
